Are you a filmmaker, aerial photographer, or drone enthusiast?

Are you looking to shoot a movie, documentary, or other aerial footage in Tunisia? If so, you need to get permission from three ministries before you can legally fly your drone.

The Interior, Defense, and Equipment (responsible for airports and ports) Ministers all need to approve your application before you can take to the skies. Additionally, you’ll need to get a general filming permit and have your paperwork in order 45 days before your planned flight.

For the permit, you’ll need to provide the location, GPS coordinates, and exact flight time of your drone. You’ll also need to provide a copy of the drone pilot permit and the synopsis of your movie or documentary.

Drone Tunisia

Once you have the proper paperwork, you can then apply for the permit and hopefully get approved. For Tunisian companies, there is a permanent drone permit available that can be renewed every month.

All you need to do is provide information on when and where you plan to use the drone. Unfortunately, importing a drone to Tunisia is not allowed. Any drone you bring into the country will be detained by customs.

You can get them back when you leave the country, but if your exit airport is not the same as the one you used for entry, you must notify the authorities in writing to ensure the drone is released.

At Gladiators Media Agency, we have the knowledge and experience to help you get your drone permit in Tunisia. Our friendly team can provide the necessary paperwork and help make sure the process goes as smoothly as possible. Contact us today to learn more about our services.
